ETHICAL MANUFACTURING
From the very beginning, sustainability has been at the heart of 76Skyvue's brand. Creative Director/Designer Lauria Pascuzzi made it her mission to source ethical manufacturers who could create sustainable products like plastic-free packaging, biodegradable materials, and the best recycled fabric available, without driving up costs for consumers.
In her search for a fair and ethical manufacturer, Pascuzzi sought out a factory with the expertise to craft comfortable, flattering swimwear from a fabric that turns waste into fashion. Ultimately, she chose to partner with Bali Swim, based in Bali, Indonesia. Not only does Bali Swim offer exceptional working conditions and pay its staff up to three times the standard wage, but they also provide comprehensive health insurance, an extra month's salary annually, and less than 40-hour workweeks.
In addition to supporting their workers, Bali Swim donates proceeds from 76Skyvue's orders to ROLE Foundation and BALI WISE. ROLE Foundation runs a zero-waste facility and environmental development programs in Bali, while BALI WISE focuses on women's business education and development. Through these partnerships, Bali Swim and 76Skyvue are making a positive impact on both the environment and local communities.
Thanks to this amazing partnership, 76Skyvue has become the thriving luxury eco-conscious brand it is today. Customers can feel good about purchasing swimwear that is not only stylish and comfortable but also sustainable and socially responsible.
